We enjoyed the apartment very much. The location was central and convenient to most points of interest.The welcome by the owner was warm and helpful.I would definetely recommend this place to large families and or groups.

The apartment delivers what was promised: a palace with style, fully equipped and with ample room for 10 guests.There was quite a lot of traffic noise (especially ambulances)It was a pity that it was not possible to pay by credit card.We choose to pay in advance, a certain risk, but it was all quite oke

We thought the look of the apartment was well represented by the webpage. It indicated 5 bedrooms but there are only four bedrooms with beds. There is a large bedroom with a chaise lounge chair that I think is supposed to be the fifth bedroom. That was a dissapointment. The size of the apartment was great. Enough room and space for our group to sleep and relax. We had to put three in one bed, however. The rooms were beautiful. The steps to get up to the apartment were too many. I believed that the apartment was on the second floor. Not 4 flights of steps... I think 80 in all.Also, the day we arrived, without touching them, two towel racks fell off the walls in two of the bathrooms. We were charged 20 euros for something we did not do. Not happy about that part. It was great to be able to go out the door and within a few feet was the Arno River in one direction and the busy shopping sections in the other direction. That was a lot of fun.

I would highly recommend this home. The location is perfect - easy to find our way. The hardest part were the 82 stairs to climb after a long day of walking, but we made it the excuse to be able to drink more wine and eat more pasta. We were a group of seven women aged 34 to a young 70 and all loved the ability to feel at home every evening.

The apartment is very old. This is exciting, but also means that frequent and proper ventilation is required. In our case, the apartment had a really bad smell (perhaps due to the one bathroom which has no window), and the result was that all our clothes had this appalling smell afterwards. This was the only problem.Apart from that, great location, plenty of room and very convenient.

The apartment was very roomy and we lacked for nothing. However, the owner should update the carpeting, which is obviously extremely old, and the kitchen tile floor could use a steam-cleaning. Also, as we mentioned in phone calls to the person responsible, the apartment has an unpleasant smell. In spite of all, I'd go back there in a heartbeat.
